The Greater Triangle Stewardship Development Awards program (GTSDA) honors residential, commercial and public land developments in the Greater Triangle region of North Carolina that demonstrate outstanding environmental stewardship through protection, conservation, improvement, and appreciation of our natural resources.

To learn about the criteria for this program and for the complete application packet, please visit the application page. Applications are solicited in the fall and award recipients, publicly recognized in the spring.  Awards of recognition from the GTSDA are given on a non-competitive basis and may be awarded to no development projects or several projects in a given year, depending on how many are judged to exceed the applicable criteria.

GTSDA is a partnership that recognizes land developments that go beyond compliance in site design, construction and building techniques, and education to protect water quality, preserve natural habitats and open space, and enhance the fabric of the community.

Please contact us if you wish to contribute, be recognized for an environmentally friendly land development, or join the GTSDA Partnership.
